Research continues to show that more traffic equals more leads, which means more sales. As you branch out and get your brand out there, it’s important to remember how to attract new visitors. In this article, we will go over a few simple strategies you can use to bolster your online presence by boosting traffic to your website.
Let’s take a look at these factors to see how they impact SERP rankings.
High-Quality Backlinks
A backlink is a signal to search engines that a site is a high authority site. Remember that backlink quality is more important than quantity.
Site Speed and User Experience
Because they both have an impact on the same thing, these two factors are discussed together. It is crucial that a website loads quickly. A study found that loading speed is an important factor. Most people leave websites after 2 seconds, while 40% wait 3 seconds.
User experience refers to how easy or difficult it is for average visitors to navigate your website. This includes page loading speeds and responsiveness. Visitors who have trouble finding what they are looking for will leave your website.
This brings us to the unifying point: “leaving site”. In SEO, a visitor who leaves a website without interfacing with it is known as a “bounce.” A low bounce rate increases a site’s rank in the SERPs.
Internal Linking
Good internal linking is essential for a website. Search engines use spiders/bots to crawl websites and add them to their index. Poor internal linking can make it difficult for search engines to navigate a site. The search engine will share this data, which can lower the site’s ranking. Poor internal linking can also increase bounce rates. This is why it is important to have excellent internal linking.
High-Quality Content
Websites are ranked for keywords. These keywords can be found in many places on the website. Site content is the most important place to use keywords. Visitors will abandon your site if the content isn’t good enough. Therefore, increase the bounce rate.

How can you be sure that your business is taking full advantage of all the traffic that such engines can provide? Let’s face it. Not everyone can be a search engine optimization master. And not everyone can afford to invest in someone that is.
If you’re in that boat, following these 3 basic concepts will put you in a great position to start with a solid foundation.
Why Search Engines Constantly Change
Search engines are constantly changing. Every year, Google rolls out hundreds of changes to its algorithm. Most of these updates are minor and aren’t worth worrying about. However, a few times a year, Google rolls out what they call “broad core algorithm updates.” These are major updates with major changes that impact millions of websites.
This isn’t the time to get into each of those updates but just understand that search engines are constantly changing in an effort to give users the best experience possible. Why? Because the more users a search engine has, the more they can sell products and services such as pay-per-click ads. So providing the best results for users directly impacts the bottom line. They take part in a tremendous balancing act. Google tells us that 4 in 5 consumers (80%) use search engines to find local information. They have to deliver the best content possible from sources people can trust.
National websites may not have the best content but they’ve built up authority over time. Think Forbes, CNN, Amazon, etc. They’re reputable brands. Consumers trust them. But at the same time, there are many small sites that have better content. Imagine that you owned a bike shop and published content specifically about bicycles. Who do you think would have better bicycle content. The shop that makes, sells and works on them all day, or a national publisher like Forbes.
Search engines like Google constantly have to figure out which sites to rank higher. There are so many specific searches with specific results that can lead to so many different websites.
Google really tells us exactly what’s working now. In recent years, concepts like “YMYL” have become really important. YMYL means “your money your life.” Websites that fall into this category have to do with health, finance, or wellness. These niches get a lot more scrutiny from Google because the results directly impact the lives of users. In these niches, it may take you longer to rank. Google doesn’t typically show those sites to users until they’ve established trust. Regardless of how long it takes or what niche you’re in, these 3 basic concepts are the best path to higher search engine rankings
E-A-T
Implementing the concept of E-A-T will make the ranking process a lot easier for you. E-A-T stands for expertise, authority, and trust. When you create content, make sure you’re providing great expertise and are acting as an authority on the subject. If you do those things, users will trust your content, and search engines will begin to trust your content. At the end of the day, content that follows those principles will give users the best experience possible.
Core Web Vitals
This year, Google introduced another concept, Core Web Vitals, which also focuses on user experience. This concept revolves around website usability. It encompasses things like site speed, mobile friendliness, and design. Having a fast website that is mobile optimized and provides great usability will help you rank higher, both directly and indirectly. Google has already confirmed that Core Web Vitals is a direct ranking signal. Indirectly, you’ll get the benefit of longer dwell times, lower bounce rates, and more user interaction.
Search Intent
Anyone that has spent any time on search engine optimization understands that ranking for any worthwhile keyword can be incredibly resource-intensive. Choosing the wrong keywords can waste hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars. You may be able to rank for a keyword but it may not bring you any traffic. Or, it might bring you traffic, but not the right kind of traffic. Imagine getting thousands of visitors a day to your website, knowing that none of them will ever buy from you because you attracted the wrong audience.
This is why Google places such a strong focus on search intent. Different audiences are using different keywords in order to reach different outcomes. Some are looking for information. Some are looking to buy. Some are using Google to navigate to brands they already know. Your website and your content have to match what your target audience is looking for. If you deliver that content, along with the two concepts we outlined above, Google will reward you with higher rankings. The result of that effort is a never-ending stream of organic customers who are looking for you and the solutions you can provide them

Personally, I’ve executed both of these strategies in succession… A 90 day challenge followed by a 90 week challenge and this is why I’ve created so much content and momentum with my organic search engine marketing.
The theory behind search engine marketing is simple. There are billions of people every day searching for answers to their questions and solutions to the problems on YouTube and Google alike.
When your content answers these specific questions based on keyword research and is optimized for search you can generate Google traffic and YouTube traffic.

The benefit of organic traffic is that you receive residual rewards for all of your efforts… This is what you see in the video where I reveal my organic traffic stats and analytics.
My early videos are still driving traffic through YouTube to this day… My early blog posts are still driving traffic through Google, to this day.
This early traffic is now compounding with the traffic and receiving from videos I’ve made this week and last month… The commutative result is a large Increase in website traffic, both month over month and year over year.
Earlier this year I met up with Neil Patel at the Affiliate Summit West event in Vegas. for the VIP attendees there was a Neil Patel SEO meet and greet with question-and-answer.
I covered the three big takeaways from Neil Patel’s talks in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJRoaqc8Iow
And immediately implemented one specific test strategy Neil Patel told me about, which was to run paid YouTube traffic to my best-performing videos because it would increase my organic YouTube traffic.
He recommended I run traffic for two months and then turn it off for two months, continuing to cycle on and off the traffic in 60 day increments.
This was in January so I had paid traffic running to my YouTube videos through early March.
Today, I am able to see a noticeable increase in organic traffic numbers after turning off the YouTube ads in March over one month ago.
You will see this explained clearly with the graph from my YouTube analytics in this video.
The final place we look is my podcast downloads Dashboard where you can see exactly how many downloads my podcast has received.
when you get your content syndicated out on all three major platforms, Google, YouTube and a podcast, this is the three pillar content marketing strategy every organic traffic enthusiast and search engine marketer should be striving for…
The three pillar content marketing strategy is explained in more detail in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-ZhK00OkBE
The last thing you will learn from this organic content marketing video is that there is no such thing as free traffic!
I share exactly how much money I have spent on my team converting my videos and blog posts and marketing my content.
You will learn exactly how to get traffic, but don’t confuse yourself thinking organic website traffic is free traffic
Organic traffic is earned traffic, not free traffic. You can put in hours of time and energy and when you focus your efforts effectively enough with the right strategy you can indeed earned traffic but it’s not free because it takes your time…
In your time, my friend… Is the most valuable and precious resource you have.
If you made it to the end, you are AWESOME! Well done
Learn how to get powerful backlinks at scale using one of the easiest link building strategies in the book: resource page link building.
Subscribe ► https://www.youtube.com/AhrefsCom?sub_confirmation=1
Unique links are tough to build. It requires you to create backlinks from different websites rather than multiple links from the same websites. At Ahrefs, we call them “Referring Domains.”
In general, a link from a unique website will be more powerful than a second or third link from a blog that’s already linking to you.
Some skeptics believe that link building is “useless.” However, there are countless studies that suggest backlinks are one of Google’s #1 SEO ranking factors.
And it will likely continue to be important for your SEO strategy in 2019 if you want to rank on Google.
Resource page link building is a link building strategy that I highly recommend for beginners to SEO.
And even if you’re an SEO expert, you can still use this tactic to get links at scale.
So what is a “resource page” in the world of search engine optimization?
A typical resource page usually lists a bunch of links to helpful resources on a particular topic.
And the reason why it’s effective is because unlike a lot of other link building techniques, the intention behind these pages is literally to link to other resources.
So by reaching out to these pages with solid recommendations, you’re contributing to the purpose of that page.
Whereas, when you try to get editorial backlinks from a blog post, you need to do a little more convincing since their goal is to deliver their own information, rather than link to external resources.
This link building technique is a simple two-step process.
1. Find resource pages.
2. Send an email to the person in charge of that page with one or more recommendations from your site.
To find resource pages, you can do a Google search using Google advanced search operators. Here are a few examples:
After you’ve entered one of these queries in Google, you can use the Scraper for Chrome extension to get the top 100 Google search results.
You can use this custom XPath code in the scraper extension:
//div[@class=”srg”]/div/div/div/div/a/@href
Next, you can use a crawler like Screaming Frog + Ahrefs to get the SEO metrics on all of these URLs. It would be to your advantage to use your Ahrefs account so you can get metrics like Domain Rating and URL rating to get an understanding if these are pages are worth pursuing to get backlinks.
You can then use Excel or Google Sheets to speed up your backlink analysis and prospecting. A lot of tips and filters are shown in the video to make this very efficient.
Next, you can crawl the URLs of your final prospect list and download the external links on these websites.
From here, you can analyze their backlink profiles in bulk with Ahrefs’ Batch Analysis tool or individually in Site Explorer.
Just go to the backlinks report and type a footprint like “resources” in the include search box.
This will show you all the resource page backlinks that your competitors have gotten. You can then reach out to these websites and get your resources mentioned there too.

➡️ Build 147 backlinks to further BOOST your traffic: https://goo.gl/hhLpiW
Today we are going to be talking about Hero SEO, the easy traffic boost. This is one of the easiest things you can do in a few simple steps when starting with a new client or applying this on an existing website.
These steps are going to reward queries that you are after, it is going to reward the money keywords, traffic and sales.
This is what I call the Jenga technique, an easy and more importantly a safe way of getting a 10-15% traffic boost to your website.
For easy, safe and repeatable ways of increasing traffic, we will be following the below techniques.
1. Riding the wave concept: You go to webmaster tools and click on ‘search queries’. Then simply add those relevant queries that webmaster tools has picked up onto your website’s content to rank for those queries. You can see as much as 1-4 position increase for doing little to no work.
The idea is to repeat this process several times throughout your website’s pages in order to acquire a collective increase of different terms. An increased ranking spot by 1 to 4 positions will yield between 0.5% to 15% in traffic per keyword… so you can see how powerful this easy to implement technique really is.
My formula & process for increasing the best keyword:
1. Go to ‘search queries’ on Webmaster Tools.
2. Sort by 250 rows
3. Sort by CTR
Your best keywords are going to be between 2% and 18% CTR. However, If you do not want to go by CTR, then I will show you an example of taking it one step further and simply pulling out the data from raw positions between 4 and 13. Getting your page from the second page of Google to the first can reap many rewards.
