Or at least it turned out my experience — other ranking factors do count up but this is the overriding take into account my opinion.

Another major rating factor lately, has been the relevance Google is placing on social website links. Get your content on the first page of Google with lots of Diggs and it will get high rankings on Google. This is not surprising considering the nature of these social bookmarking websites… it really is an actual “vote” for the quality of your content. Obtaining Delicious bookmarks has a comparable positive effect.

Another notable factor, from my findings, is having your major keyword in your Domain Name. Use hyphens if you want but having all those keywords in there, does help instead of hindering your rankings.
