Image handling – How to handle images in the Perfion PIM system

As you probably already know, Perfion has a special data type for images. That means that Perfion supports typical formats such as .jpg, .bmp, .png, .tiff, .psd and .eps.
As a rule of thumb, you should always store your original image in Perfion. When Perfion delivers the image for the web and other channels, it can automatically convert it and resize it to a more web friendly format. You only have to keep track of one version of the same image – the original.
