Hey, what’s up?
This is Luke Kubow from myimplace.com and in this short video I’m gonna show you how to use SEO gigs safely, without fear that your website or video will be penalized.
Also I will show you how to keep control over your link juice, so you could control your clients rankings just in case they stop paying.
When we want to boost our rankings we often go to some SEO markets (you can check the one I’m using by clicking the link below this video) and there we choose some services. Those services should be a part of our overall ranking strategy, which means if for example I created some social signals, then I need to add links from web 2.0s, PBNs and more.
But because of various Google penalties we want to make sure that the links we buy are safe and boost our rankings instead of harming them. And we don’t want to see in the report hundreds of links from porn sites, all with the same anchor text. Right? So we want to have an ability to control if those links point to our site or not.
OK. Now let’s take a look at another situation:
Let’s say we have a client who’s paying us monthly for SEO and we spent a lot of money on PBN backlinks etc. to rank his website or video. Suddenly the client decides to stop paying.
Of course there are chances that after some time his rankings drop, but if you pointed your purchased backlinks directly to his site, he’s taking an advantage of them and you can do nothing about it. So we want to keep control over the link juice we paid for, to take the link power from the bad client and redirect it to another one.
Long story short: in both of our example situations we want to control where our backlinks point to, and we can do this very easily using a free WP plugin. Let me show you how to do it.
OK, what we need is a WP site and a free WP plugin called Pretty Link.
This plugin allows to create 301 redirects to make long and ugly affiliate links looking good.
When someone clicks on this link then is being redirected to the offer.
In a second I will show you how to use it for SEO.
Let’s create a pretty 301 link.

…And we can change the destination url whenever we want. Simply click EDIT.
So for example we want to rank this video and we want to buy some links on the market, but we don’t know if they gonna be healthy for our rankings.
So we’re creating a pretty link with the destination url of our video and send it to the gig’s vendor. If he messes up our anchor text ratio or anything else, you can change the destination url and redirect those link to some web 2.0 article with the video embed and keep the link juice.
You can use it also when buying expensive links or doing pretty much any kind of backlinking and keep control over your clients’ website or video rankings.
